Great page , I love it and thanks for it.
Have a problem , Bought Savage 86 and now I'm trying
to get it to run , the problem is my Suzy is missing a
muffler . New one is too expensive for me at this time'
I did the reading of yours posts for about a 2 months and
that was the reason for buying a Savage.
Lot's of You are changing the stock muffler for supertrap
or jardine so have a question-is it a stock muffler available
for a reasononable price?
I have also a oil leake , I changed all gussets and o-rings
and the last thing is (I think) a leak from the top of the crancase
where the starter is mounted to the engine , I change the o-ring of the starter but
doesn't help . When I removed a starter it is some oil
under it , and is droping thru the hole in crancase.
I applay some silikon around the o-ring-still leaks.
Any sugestions?
